BRIDGE

For schools and organisations

You have children falling behind because of language, and no resource to teach them separately. We can take that on — free of charge.

What we provide

Trained volunteer teachers, a ready 10-week curriculum, weekly lessons in groups of 8–12, testing at the start and end of the course, and a report on each student.

What we need from you

Name the children who need this, and pass a consent form to their parents. Everything else — scheduling, teachers, curriculum, reports — is on us.

What it costs

Nothing. We are not selling anything and we collect no money from you or from the families.

You choose the students

We do not check family income and we do not ask for documents — it humiliates the child and frightens off exactly the people who need help most. You know these families better than we do, so you choose. We only ask you to prioritise children who cannot access paid tutoring.

Safety

Our teachers are students aged 16–19, so there are no adult strangers around the children. Lessons are group lessons only, always with two teachers. Private messaging between a teacher and a student is technically impossible. We store no surnames, addresses or photos of children. A named adult is responsible for safeguarding.

How to start

Write to us — we can explain in 15 minutes. If it fits, you name the children, we form the group and set a time that suits your students.
