Free classes
BRIDGE runs free online classes in Russian and English. It really is free: we do not ask for documents and we do not collect money.
Who it is for
Children and teenagers aged 12–17 who are struggling at school because of language, and families who cannot pay for a tutor. Most often these are children from families who have moved to Russia.
How the classes work
Once a week, 60 minutes, in a group of 8–12. The course runs 10 weeks. Two people teach: a teacher and a helper who can explain in your own language when needed.
What you need
A phone and the internet. Nothing to install, and you do not have to turn your camera on. If your connection is poor we will send you a recording of the lesson and the exercises.
We do not ask for documents
We do not check family income and we ask for no paperwork of any kind. We simply take your word for it. If you are under 18 you need to join through a school or organisation — they will give you a code. That is how we know a parent knows.
There is a test at the start and at the end
A short level test before you start and the same one at the end of the course, so you can see how far you have come. Students who attend 80% of lessons receive a certificate.
